Five Days of Action: Keeping Kids Safe in the Digital SpaceThe Oshkosh YMCA is joining the Five Days of Action®—a national campaign focused on preventing child abuse and keeping kids safe. From April 13-17, we’re shining a light on the digital world, and how adults can help kids build healthy, safe habits online.

On July 31, the Oshkosh Y proudly celebrates International Lifeguard Appreciation Day, recognizing the trained professionals who work tirelessly to ensure safety in and around the water every single day. From pools, to lakes, to swim lessons, lifeguards are frontline protectors who make recreation possible—and safe—for thousands of local residents each year.At the Oshkosh YMCA, lifeguards support vital aquatics programs, including:

A child’s fear of water is more common than many people realize—but it doesn’t have to be permanent.
