The Oshkosh YMCA Ice Arena: Oshkosh's Only Indoor Ice Rink!
Open year round, the 20th Ave YMCA offers learn-to-skate programs, figure skating classes, hockey programs, private skate lessons, and open skate times for recreational skaters. We are proud to offer unique skate programs for youth and adults of all abilities.
CLUBS, TEAMS, & RENTALS
The Oshkosh Y proudly partners with multiple community organizations to offer ice time to the following clubs/teams who call our rink home:
- Oshkosh Area Youth Hockey Association (Warbirds)
- Oshkosh Ice Hawks
- UW-Oshkosh Men's Club Hockey
- Fond Du Lac Blades
RENTALS: If you are interested in renting the ice arena for a practice, game, or private group, please contact Matt Carey, Ice Arena Director, at 920-230-8439 or mattcarey@oshkoshymca.org for available dates and times.
OPEN SKATE
Open Ice Skating is a fun and exciting activity the whole family can enjoy. With Open Skating sessions all week long, there’s always a convenient time to skate! All sessions are open to the public- non-members are welcome to skate with an additional fee. Find open skate times on the monthly open skate schedule below.
MEMBERS SKATE FREE! Open skate and skate rentals are always free for YMCA members.
PRIVATE SKATE LESSONS
Set up private lessons with a Y instructor based on your schedule, available to all ages & skill levels! We offer private lessons for recreational skating, figure skating, hockey skating, and goalie coaching. Call the YMCA to schedule lessons or request more information: (920) 230-8928.
Sessions are 30 minutes each. Lesson dates/times are determined by the parent/skater and instructor. For current pricing, please see the "Ice" section of the program guide.
