SWIM LESSONS FOR YOUTH & ADULTS
The Y offers swim lessons for all ages. Youth lessons start as early as 6 months old and adult classes are offered for those 16+. Swim lessons are offered in private, semi-private, and group settings. Try a parent-child lesson, learn swim basics in an age appropriate group, swim alongside a small group to gain confidence in the water, or register for a private, one-on-one lesson. To find which swim lesson is right for your child, use the Swim Lesson Finder below to determine which program is the best fit.
1 student to 1 instructor. Best for swimmers who would prefer an individualized experience.
A maximum of 2-3 students total. Participants will be at similar ability levels; no more than one Oshkosh YMCA Swim Lesson Stage (or comparable ability) apart.
If you are interested in Private or Semi-Private lessons, please complete this interest form before registering and paying for lessons.
SMALL GROUP LESSONS
3 students to 1 instructor. For those who prefer a smaller size group lesson to provide more individual attention and gain more time to learn and discover the water.
