Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at the Y with the flavors and stories of our community. Join Ruben and Hector from Wagner Market in the Teaching Kitchen for a fun and flavorful evening of cooking and connection. They’ll share the tradition behind sopes- a thick corn tortilla (gluten free) topped with refried beans, Wagner Market’s Chori-Queso brat, fresh veggie slaw, and cotija cheese - all paired with a side of Mexican pasta salad. YUM! Participants will sample the dishes, ask questions, and enjoy learning how food brings people together.
