Hi! My name is Chelsea Huszar, and I joined the Oshkosh Community YMCA in fall of 2025 and serve as the Chief Development Officer. In my role, I strategically guide and execute fundraising activities, including annual giving, capital campaigns, events, and foundation and corporate giving. For more than 12 years, I have worked exclusively in Development in Chicago and briefly in the Fox Valley, and previously, I have served in key leadership roles at A Better Chicago and Sinai Chicago. Always working at the intersection of health, human services, and education, I have helped raise more than $40 million for charities throughout my career. Before my work in Development, I worked in Education roles in museums throughout New York City and Chicago. I hold a BA from Loyola University Chicago and an MA from New York University.
I grew up at the Oshkosh Community Y, attending youth programs, “family floats”, and participating in YMCA sports from age 2 to 18. Coming back to my hometown and helping bring resources to the community that has raised me is the truest privilege of my career to date.
I currently live in Oshkosh with my husband and two daughters, and in my spare time, I enjoy living the lake life with friends and family, downhill skiing, and moments of peace with a good cup of coffee.
