Join local culinary professional, Chef Shelly Platten, in the Downtown Y Teaching Kitchen to learn about kitchen safety and knife skills. Participants will learn how to best use different kitchen knives + make a fresh salad with fresh cut chicken to finish and test some skills. Leave feeling more confident using knives and with a full belly. Open to ages 14 and up.
