Stephanie Pereira Da Silva graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in December 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion & Wellness and in May 2006 with a Master of Science degree in Human & Community Resources and Nutrition. Stephanie is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager (NWI), Fitness & Nutrition Specialist (ACE), Corporate Athlete® Trainer (HPI), Smoking Cessation Facilitator (American Lung Association), Nutrition Counselor (APEX), Personal Trainer (NASM) and Wellness Council of Wisconsin Faculty Member (WELCOA). Stephanie is also certified in Professional CPR (Adult, Child, and Infant), Standard First Aid, AED, Lifeguarding (American Red Cross & YMCA), Water Safety Instruction (American Red Cross & YMCA), TRX Suspension Training Level 1, Yoga (NETA), Spinning ® and Schwinn Cycling.
Stephanie is deeply rooted in our community and involved with many different organizations, groups and volunteer opportunities. (Including pdsF.U.S.I.O.N. Fitness Crew, the University of Wisconsin Health & Wellness Management, CoAES Program Advisory Committee UW-Oshkosh, Winnebago County Breakwater Task Force, Girl Scouts, Oaklawn Elementary PTO, Kids Crew Running Club, North Park Neighbors, and the Oshkosh Summer Fun Runs!)
Stephanie has been teaching group exercise since 1998, where she began teaching under Sandra Reeser at the "old" Downtown Oshkosh Y. She is a wife and mother of two young girls (Gabriella,10, and McKenzi, 6) and her rescue dog, Ivan. She enjoys traveling, reading, kayaking, and anything else outdoors with her family.
