Strong Kids Campaign

With your help … no person will be denied the benefits of a YMCA membership or activity based on financial limitations. The Oshkosh Community YMCA offers membership assistance to over 2,400 youth, families and individuals annually. The Strong Kids Campaign assures older adults, individuals with disabilities, group home members, and financially challenged individuals’ participation at the YMCA. We are committed to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. With your help, we will succeed.

Your gift of $50 enables a child to learn to swim.
Your gift of $100 will provide a YMCA membership for a disadvantaged child.
Your gift of $200 will send a child to day camp for two weeks.
Your gift of $300 will help defray the cost of after-school care for a working single parent.
Your gift of $500 will provide an annual membership for a family staying at the domestic abuse shelter.
Your gift of $1000 expands the funding of YMCA programs and memberships for group homes, physically disabled individuals and at-risk youth and seniors.

Strong Kids Banner Program

Support the Strong Kids Campaign through the Strong Kids Banner Program. By purchasing a banner, you are investing in our community's future. Nearly 2,400 individuals in our community receive financial assistance through Strong Kids Campaign funds. Total subsidies in 2009 are expected to exceed $550,000.

Banner Facts

Banners can be purchased and displayed at the Downtown, 20th Avenue and/or Tennis Center locations.
Banners are great advertising tools that are 100% tax deductible.
Approximately 1,800 individuals view the banners each day.
Banners are displayed for 12 months in visible, high traffic areas, such as the pools, lobby and the Lifestyle Centers.
$1,000 Donation is recognized with one white banner hanging at the location of your choice.
$1,500 Donation is recognized with two white banners hanging at the locations of your choice.
$2,500 Donation is recognized with three RED banners at locations of your choice.
$5,000 Donation is recognized with three BLACK & GOLD banners at locations of your choice.
