Lisa Dwyer, Fitness Instrutor

Lisa Dwyer has been a Fitness Instructor at the Oshkosh Community YMCA for over a year. She began teaching in December of 2014 after her youngest son started kindergarten. Lisa teaches SilverSneakers Classic at both 20th Ave and the Downtown Center. She loves working at the Y because it’s a positive environment, filled with like-minded people. Her favorite thing about the Oshkosh Y is the people, including the staff!
“Everyone is so friendly here!”

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys running, biking, cooking and dancing. Lisa is very passionate about health and wellness and helping others live a more active lifestyle. She is inspired every day by her many class participants.

"The Y is like a family! My class participants are so inspiring and should be so proud of themselves for their commitment to exercise. They are awesome and I love coming to class because of them!"

Lisa and her family are frequent visitors of the 20th Ave facility. Her sons, who are ages 6 and 9, have participated in many of the activities that the Y has to offer. They play both soccer and flag football, and also enjoy participating in swimming lessons and Safety City. Lisa most enjoys watching her sons play soccer.
"We come as a family almost every Sunday. I don’t know what we’d do without the YMCA! We’d be bored!”
