I joined the Oshkosh YMCA in 1990 when I retired and I have been a member ever since. My first class was in aerobics led by Amy Albright. After class, we would all gather and enjoy our coffee together, which later led to celebrating birthdays at a local restaurant. The Women’s Fitness Center was once a special locker room and you paid extra to use it. When it opened to all Y members, the group got larger. I will be turning 90 at the end of the year (2016) and I attend a yoga class at the Downtown YMCA two days a week. I also enjoy walking the track at 20^th Avenue.
